Aggie Wedding at The Weinberg at Wixon Valley

Lexie and Cole’s wedding was nothing short of a truly special one. I’ve known Lexie since she was in high school and photographed her brother’s wedding at Margot Hill in East Texas in 2023! Lexie booked me back in fall 2022, before I was engaged! When Matthew and I booked our wedding for two days before Lexie and Cole’s, I knew I wouldn’t miss their wedding for the world. I was honored to photograph such a fun and love-filled day at The Weinberg on Wixon Valley!

Their summer wedding in College Station, Texas made for a beautiful day. Even though the Central Texas heat came out to play, Lexie and Cole’s wedding party could not be beat! Their infectious joy made for an incredible party.

Lexie is an artist and LOVED this window at the back of the chapel. We got to take some stunning photos here right after they were married!

Some of my favorite moments to capture are ones of authentic emotion, like Lexie’s dad smile as he walks her down the aisle.

Texas A&M Senior Portraits

I’ve officially moved BACK to Aggieland, whoop! As I prepare to be a bride myself, I’m excited to start planting roots with my soon-to-be husband in Bryan/College Station.

One of the things that excites me most about being back in my college town is getting to be around so many incredible college students! My time at Texas A&M was so special to me, I can’t wait to cheer on students in this exciting season of life.

One college student I am especially excited to be near is my cousin Justin, who is graduating with his degree in engineering this May! I took Justin’s senior pictures when he was in high school, what an honor it was to be invited back to capture this exciting time for him. We got to stop by some of his favorite buildings on campus-Zachary Engineering building, the Admin building, and Academic Plaza! Each one brought special memories of his time here.

Garden Party Wedding at The Venue at Orchard Farms

Macy + Daniel had the most incredible garden party wedding in East Texas. This was an exceptionally special day, as I photographed Hallye’s, Macy’s sister, wedding last year at Margot Hill! I am always incredibly honored to be invited back to families to capture such meaningful moments.

Macy told me her vision for her wedding day was garden party and let me tell you, she did not! miss! Her entire wedding was a beautiful, floral day that perfectly fit her East Texas venue.

It was my first time at this natural-light venue in East Texas and I could not get over how stunning it was for this spring wedding!

The Eshbaugh’s Winter Maternity Photos in Tyler, Texas

This one was an extra special session for me, because Sydney is my best friend! I was overjoyed when she asked me to capture her maternity photos. Sydney and her wonderful husband Andrew live in Tyler, Texas where they trees are abundant. The trees are one of their favorite things about their town and I knew I wanted to capture that outdoor elements in their photos.

I got to capture the moments when Andrew proposed to Sydney and was Sydney’s maid of honor when they got married! Getting to capture the milestone moments in the lives of people I love will never get old. It was so special to go to their house a few weeks after this session to see photos of their maternity session and their engagements that I had taken hung up on their walls!

The Clarks’ Winter Wedding in Houston, Texas.

Katie and Coby had a joy-filled wedding day at Venue 311 in Magnolia, Texas, filled with florals and 200+ of their favorite people. I got to meet Katie through a mutual friend and instantly loved her warm, welcome demeanor. Their wedding was filled with light and color, two of my favorite things to photograph. We spent a good part of the day laughing together despite the freezing temperatures.

I so admired her desire for her people to feel loved and celebrated on her wedding day alongside her and Coby. Their wedding day was filled with so much FUN. It was easy to see that everyone there was genuinely overjoyed that Katie and Coby were getting married. From photographing details, to singing along to Dua Lipa on the dance floor, I loved getting to be apart of their day.

Matlock Family Session in their home in Dallas, Texas.

One of my favorite parts of family photos is capturing genuine emotion and authentic interactions between the family members. Where better to capture that than the family’s home? That’s exactly what we did for the Matlock family!

Kristen and Miller had a big year. They became a family of three and welcomed their first child, Teddy. I loved getting to capture newborn photos of Teddy’s fun personality. Soon after, they bought their first home for their growing family and got to move in right before Christmas! They wanted to capture these major moments through family and newborn photos at their new home in Dallas.

I got to take photos of the Matlocks last year, just before they found out they were expecting. It was an absolute joy to be able to capture these first few moments as a family of three!

The Chilton’s Fall Maternity Photos at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve.

Andrew and Jennifer love bright light and natural colors in their photos, which led to us deciding on a morning session at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano, Texas for their maternity session.

One of the biggest joys as a photographer is getting to celebrate moments again and again over the years with clients. I was a second shooter at Andrew and Jennifer’s beautiful summer wedding two years ago and I was so honored that they asked me to photograph their maternity photos to announce that they are expecting their first child! Andrew and Jennifer are both so kind, they even brought me a warm drink to their session! How thoughtful!

Macy and Daniel’s Engagement Photos in Dallas, Texas

Macy and Daniel got engaged and came to Dallas for a mix of city and outdoor vibes for their fall engagement session. I got to capture Macy’s sister’s wedding this past summer and it was a joy to be around her as she rocked her maid of honor roll. I am so excited for their upcoming wedding at The Venue at Orchard Farms in East Texas this March.

Macy and Daniel are both two hardworking individuals, with Macy in medical school and Daniel in pilot training. They wanted their photos to be city-chic, yet capture the outdoors they both love. I instantly knew Flippen Park in Dallas would accomplish both of those goals. It started sprinkling during our session, but that didn’t derail their excitement! I loved the rain shots we got to capture in those moments.

One of my favorite things about engagement sessions is it allows me to get to know my couple more and spend time with them before their wedding day! It also helps me know how to serve them as a photographer, do they like more direction for photos or are they super comfortable in front of the camera? Katie’s Outdoor Fall Bridal Session in Dallas, Texas.

Katie was my last bride of the 2023 year and it was a joy to take her bridals! We decided on doing an outdoor location for Katie’s bridals as she loves trees and flowers. We picked Flippen Park in Dallas for a mix of the beautiful architecture there with the gazebo and fountain, as well as the trees and flowers available all year round.

Katie brought along two friends, which I LOVE when brides do. Bridals can be a little nerve-wracking, so I always encourage brides to bring along a hype woman or two.

Ally’s Portrait Session

Ally is the epitome of a girl boss. She’s climbing the corporate ladder and breaking barriers along the way. To celebrate her new job, she wanted some new photos showcasing her professionalism and her fun personality. She also brought along her sweet pup, Jackson, to capture his personality as well! During our hour session, we captured new headshots, personality photos, as well as Christmas card pictures! I love getting to capture a variety of photos in my sessions with clients, so this was the perfect session for that.

For this shoot, we went the The Lumen Room, one of my favorite studios in Dallas/Fort Worth. We focused on clean lines, natural light, and showcasing her personality.

I’ve known Ally since our days at Texas A&M, so it was extra special to celebrate her career success and her personal wins as well!

Ally’s dog, Jackson, is a big part of her life. He had to be included in the shoot!

Iacomini Fall Wedding at One Preston Events in Gunter, Texas

Alex and Dennison celebrated their wedding at One Preston Events in Gunter, Texas on a beautiful fall day. They really wanted timeless wedding photos so we were able to use light and clean lines to create those while capturing the natural color of their wedding day,

Alex and Dennison were such an incredible couple to work with. Their love was so evident and they are incredible parents to their son, Cooper! I love how they incorporated him in their wedding day by getting him ready together right before the ceremony.

One thing I loved about Alex was she knew her venue! She did her research and knew exactly what kind of photos she wanted at her venue. I love getting to partner along with brides to capture timeless and creative photos on the wedding day, but I loved also being able to know exactly what Alex was envisioning from her clear ideas!
