Macy and Daniel’s Engagement Photos in Dallas, Texas

Macy and Daniel got engaged and came to Dallas for a mix of city and outdoor vibes for their fall engagement session. I got to capture Macy’s sister’s wedding this past summer and it was a joy to be around her as she rocked her maid of honor roll. I am so excited for their upcoming wedding at The Venue at Orchard Farms in East Texas this March.

Macy and Daniel are both two hardworking individuals, with Macy in medical school and Daniel in pilot training. They wanted their photos to be city-chic, yet capture the outdoors they both love. I instantly knew Flippen Park in Dallas would accomplish both of those goals. It started sprinkling during our session, but that didn’t derail their excitement! I loved the rain shots we got to capture in those moments.

One of my favorite things about engagement sessions is it allows me to get to know my couple more and spend time with them before their wedding day! It also helps me know how to serve them as a photographer, do they like more direction for photos or are they super comfortable in front of the camera?
